School Development Plan
The school’s ambition for all pupils is to achieve expected standard or above and the school aims for the national average as a minimum. The school’s curriculum clearly defines the progression in knowledge and skills to ensure pupils’ subject knowledge and learning is continually improved. The pupils’ phonic knowledge and early reading is secured in Early Years and KS1. The mastery maths approach is consistently embedded across the school to improve the pupils’ mathematical knowledge and attainment. The schools’ whole school approach to oracy improves the pupils’ speech, language, and communication skills. The school’s assessment is consistent and effective to ensure that pupils build on their learning and address gaps in prior learning.
