Hill Mead Parents | Home School Agreement

As parents you are the most important influence on your child.  How you respond will be how your child responds.  If we have your support your child will succeed.

What you can expect from the school:

A newsletter every two weeks telling you what’s going on
Regular parent workshops showing you how to help your child
Regular parent meetings to discuss your child’s progress
A written report every year with your child’s grades and targets
A prompt call home whenever something has happened to your child
Someone to talk to whenever you have a concern
Regular homework

What we expect from your child:

Be in school every day and on time
Wear the school uniform correctly and be smart in their appearance
Take responsibility for their own behaviour and obey school rules
Look after their own possessions
Complete homework
Tell an adult if they are unhappy

What we expect from you:

Ensure your child arrives and is collected from school on time
Ensure your child comes to school every day. Report any absences
Make sure homework is completed
Come to parent meetings to discuss your child’s progress
Every day remind your child of our expectations
